We use the Clubzap mobile app for all club and individual team communications. Please search for Clubzap on the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once you have installed the app, find Bray Hockey Club and register yourself as a player or parent. You can request to join the relevant chat group for you or your child. 

Bray Hockey Club Membership 

16th June 2025 Update

You must hold a valid Hockey Ireland membership with a valid ME number for 2025/26 to participate in Bray Hockey Club. Please refer to membership on www.hockey.ie from Wednesday 18th June 2025.

Club Membership for 2025/26 is now open. Existing members should use renew (using the same email address they used last year), all new members should use join the waitlist. 

There is no waitlist applicable for seniors or junior boys - you will receive a notification once your join the waitlist has been approved though this may take a few days for our volunteers to process. 

Memberships for the Junior Girls 2025/26 are subject to availability and unfortunately not all applications can be facilitated for 2025/26 as we are almost fully subscribed. Please use "join the waitlist" and should a place in your chosen age group become available you will receive a notification. This may not be for a number of weeks and possibly not until September 2025 as we give priority to existing members.

Membership for the Junior Boys section is open and we welcome all boys aged 5-16 years. Please send all inquires for the boys section for the attention of John to boys@brayhockeyclub.ie

Further to the directive from our National Governing Body Hockey Ireland ALL players – senior and junior -  are to have a HI membership number and are not allowed to participate in hockey activities without one.

If you have already registered with Hockey Ireland but do not know your HI ME number, please use that link to login into your Hockey Ireland profile and it will be there. Please note there is a "forgot password" option to gain access to your account.

Bray Hockey Club offers a number of membership levels. Fees below are valid from 1st June 2025. The fees below represent the "Pay in Full Price". An additional surcharge to cover payment fees will apply if paying by installments.

Full Senior: €400.00

Reduced Senior (student/unemployed): €280.00

Senior Non-Training Membership (matches only): €200.00

Ladies Vets Membership:  €100.00

Pavilion: €50.00

U18 Senior Player: €250.00

Junior U18, U16 & U14 Players: €240.00

Additional Junior U14/U16 Player: €190.00

Junior U12 Player: €210.00

Junior U12 +1: €180.00

Junior U12 +2: €150.00

Junior U12 +3: €120.00

Family Household Package*: €760.00

*Family Household Package can consist of up to 2 playing Adults and up to 3 x U16 Juniors. Families should consist of Spouses/Partners and direct child dependents.

Under 18 membership applications must be completed by a parent/guardian and must include the relevant waivers. Any junior member can also play senior hockey once they reach their 15th birthday at no extra charge.

Parents/Guardians are reminded of Hockey Ireland's child welfare policies including guidelines on overplaying.

Junior fees must be paid in full by the 1st of September (unless payment is made by recurring payment).

Senior have a "no pay no play" policy. As per the Club Constitution, payment arrangement for subscriptions must be entered into with the Honorary Treasurer by the 1st November of each playing season. Subscriptions must be paid in full by the end of January. Any members failing to observe this rule shall not be eligible for selection on a team. 

Any players who have not paid their subs from the previous season will NOT be eligible for selection to ANY squad. 

According to the rules of the Leinster Hockey Association players must be 15 years old or more to play competitive Senior Hockey.

Failure to adhere to your agreed subscription payment schedule may affect your ability to participate in club activities, including but not limited to training and games.

By becoming a member of Bray Hockey Club, you agree to adhere to Bray Hockey Club's Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policies, and Hockey Ireland's Code of Ethics & other relevant policies.

For monthly subscriptions/payment schedules any payments made are non-refundable. Membership continues until payment is cancelled. On cancellation the balance of the member's subscriptions must be paid. Subscription cycles are from the 1st day of April until the last day of March.

As per the Club Constitution, 50% of senior subs are due by November 1st and final payment to be received no later than February 15th.
